2014 タイ国政府観光庁ならびに株式会社ダイヤモンド・ビッグ社が主催する「タイ旅行企画コンペ」に応募する学生の指導を行った．2014年度については，中村ゼミ3期生3名が参加し，最終選考まで残ったが，選に漏れる結果であった．2015年度については，「観光行動論」受講者有志を募り応募し，グランプリを獲得した． 2014-10-15

2014 日本観光ホスピタリティ教育学会全国大会（第14回）の学生報告において，中村ゼミ3期生2名が「学生による海外旅行商品企画の取り組み」と題して，ゼミでの2年間にわたる海外旅行商品企画への取り組みの実践と成果・反省点についてプレゼンテーションを行った．それにあたっての指導に取り組んだ．報告概要については，同学会の機関誌『観光ホスピタリティ教育』第9号に掲載される． 2015-02-28
2013 ○旅行会社との産学連携による商品企画 株式会社エス・ティー・ワールド（STW），株式会社ダイヤモンド・ビッグ社（地球の歩き方）との産学連携による海外旅行商品の企画に，中村ゼミの学生6名が参加した． この産学連携には，本学をはじめ，立教，和歌山，阪南，近畿の計5大学が参加している．玉川の学生は，STWと地球の歩き方のコラボで発行している旅行商品パンフレット「海外旅行FAN」ならびにSTW社のWEBに掲載する旅行商品の企画（計4本）をする機会をいただいた． 中村ゼミ生は「イタリア・ドイツ・フランス」「UAE」「パラオ・グアム」「チェコ・ハンガリー」の4商品の企画を行った．担当したのは，ツアーのコンセプト立案，コースの設定，広告案の作成，写真素材の確保である．STWの担当者のアドバイスを受けつつ，催行可能な商品に半年かけて仕上げていった． このプロジェクトを通して，学生は1)旅行商品企画のプロセス，2)理想のツアーと実現可能なツアーの違い，3)コンセプトの明確化の重要性，などを学んだと言える．また．企業の担当者とのやりとりを通じて，ビジネスコミュニケーションの能力を高めることができた． なお，このプロジェクトについては，2013年7月17日放映のTBS「はなまるマーケット」にて紹介されている． このプロジェクトについては，2014年度以降も継続した．2014年度は中村ゼミ所属学生3名が参加し，企画コンペを勝ち抜き，商品化された．また，相応の販売実績をあげることができた．2015年度は観光学部「デスティネーション・マーケティング」受講生有志7名が参加した．マーケティングの理論の授業の展開にあわせて企画作業を進めていく方針をとったが，アクティブ・ラーニングとしても効果的であった．2企画をコンペに出し，2企画とも商品化していだくことができた． 2013-04-01
2013 ○グループ研究の実施と外部での成果発表 中村ゼミの3年次生は，グループ研究に取り組んでいる．フリーライダーを出さないことに留意し，最大4名を目安に，興味関心領域の近い者が集まりチーム編成をしている．5月から12月までの半年をかけて，1)テーマの設定，2)文献・資料の購読，3)オリジナルな定量調査の企画と実施・集計・分析，4)結論と提案のとりまとめの段階を設けて，学生が主体となった研究に取り組むように促している． 指導上の工夫としては，1)月に1回の中間報告のプレゼンテーションを義務化することで，進捗管理とプレゼンテーション・スキルの向上を実現する，2)グループ別に月に1回・2時間程度の時間外指導を行い，PC操作から詳細な議論に至るまでのサポートを実施する，3)押しつけにならないことを最優先とし，学生の研究レベル向上の支援役に徹する，の3点を心がけている． 成果をあげたグループについては，私の主戦場であり，日本でもっとも有力な観光系の学会である，日本観光研究学会の全国大会の学生ポスターセッションで発表をするように促している．2011年度より毎年，1グループが参加している．会場には，他大学の教員や学生，実務家が中村ゼミの学生の発表を聞きに来ており，学生はさまざまなアドバイスを受けている．また，高い評価を得ており，学生には自信になっているようである． 2011-05-09
2012 ○町田市観光コンベンション協会・都市再生機構との産学連携 中村ゼミにおいて，町田市を研究対象とする学生が，上記2団体との産学連携に参加した． 2011年度は「まちだまちなか観光フォーラム」と称したまちづくりに関するワークショップに参加し，町田の魅力発見，中心市街地の問題点の整理等を行った．また，「みんなのまちなか・ふたりのまちなか」と題した，大学新入生をターゲットとした，町田の中心市街地にある飲食店を紹介するガイドブックを制作した．このガイドブックについては，本学ホームページ，ならびにタウンニュースなどのメディアにも紹介された． 2012年度においても「まちだまちなか観光フォーラム」に引き続き参加した．同時に，中村ゼミとして実施したグループ研究「町田中心市街地への来訪者行動の実態調査」について，まちづくり関係者に対して報告する機会を得た．この調査は玉川大学の学生を対象として実施し，約240票の回答を得た．集計・分析をした結果，玉川大学の学生の町田の中心市街地の来訪の実態，イメージ，問題点等が明らかになった．報告した結果，玉川大学の女子学生が町田の中心市街地に対して「怖い」イメージを持っていることがまちづくり関係者には衝撃をもって受け止められ，改善に向けて動き出したようである． このプロジェクトは2012年度をもって一時終結した． 2011-07-30
2010 4年生の学生は，就職活動や教育実習での欠席が多くなりがちである．これらの学生へのフォローとして，授業で使用した教材，ならびにPowerpointをFlash化したものを学内e-Educationシステムである“Blackboard@Tamagawa”を通して公開した．4年生の学生から多くのアクセスがあったほか，欠席者へのフォローができているとの評価を学生から得ている． 2010-04-01
2010 「ホスピタリティマネジメント」において，授業期間中に4回ほどグループワークを行った．教員が用意するテーマについて，1グループ2〜4名で構成されるグループが，1時間の制限時間の中で結論を出し，まとめるように促した．さらに，翌週の授業では有志の学生による成果のプレゼンテーションを行った．常時出席者が110名を超える講義であるが，学生に受け身にならずに自分で思考し組み立てる機会を教室で与えることができた． 2010-04-01

2010 前任校のインターンシップ事前・事後指導においては，個別指導を重視し，実習先選定の面談，エントリーシート作成指導，目標設定面談，実習先特有の専門知識の教授，実習終了後の振り返り面談，報告書・報告会プレゼンテーションの添削指導，を行った．学生への指導内容の徹底・定着，学生の1対1のコミュニケーション能力向上に効果をあげた．一連の取り組みで5年間のトラブル発生もなく，学生からも高い満足度を得ている． 2005-04-01
2009 玉川大学経営学部で開講した講義科目では，学内e-Educationシステムである“Blackboard@Tamagawa”を活用し，授業教材の公開，授業で紹介したウェブサイトへのリンク作成，学生への連絡，レポートフォーマットの配布等に活用した．受講生の8割近くがアクセスをしていた． 2009-04-01

2008 「観光メディア論」「観光社会学」において，ガイドブックや旅行雑誌の実態を講義し，事例として自治体が企画を持ち込み出版した「るるぶ練馬区」を紹介した．また，同講義のレポート課題の１つとして「もしあなたが○○市の観光課の職員だとしたら，『るるぶ○○市』を作るために出版社にどのようなプレゼンテーションするのかについてまとめよ」を出題し，多くの学生にメディア側の立場からの発想・思考を促すことができた． 2008-09-01

2007 「観光行動論」「観光心理学」の研究方法として，観光者を対象とした量的調査が重要である．講義においても，旅行経験，観光地イメージ，選択肢の決定などに関するアンケート調査や実験を行い，その集計・分析結果を授業でフィードバックした．一連の取り組みにより，学生からは「授業内容に密接に関連していて興味がもてる」「アンケートの回答により参加している実感を持てる」「授業にひきつけられる」などの評価を得ている． 2007-04-01
2007 インターンシップの事前指導において，全参加者を集めての集団指導を行った．ねらいは1)スキル指導の効率化，2)チームで仕事をする能力の育成，3)学生相互が刺激し高めあう仕組みの構築の3点である．事前指導ではビジネスマナー，グループワーク，パソコン，実習先研究プレゼンテーション，スピーチに取り組んだ．また学生の相互評価，上級生が下級生を指導する仕組みも導入し，当初の目的を達成している． 2007-04-01
2005 前任校のインターンシップでは，終了後に報告会を開催した．学生には持ち時間12分でのパワーポイントを用いてのプレゼンテーションを義務付けた．学内の役職者やゼミ指導教員，実習先のご担当者をお招きし，緊張感のあるフォーマルな雰囲気で開催した．実習先のご担当者には大学の指導に取り組む姿勢を示すことができたほか，学生のプレゼンテーションスキルの向上を図ることを実現した． 2005-04-01
2004 前任校でキャリア教育の講義を担当した．学生をみると，ビジネスの現場の第一線で活躍している社会人に接するチャンスに乏しく，正社員の仕事を理解できない状況にあった．そこで，本務校OBを中心とする現役ビジネスマンをゲストスピーカーを講義に招聘し，仕事の実際を語ってもらった．講義にあたっては，ゲストスピーカーへの趣旨説明と講義ストーリー作成を綿密に行ったほか，当日には担当教員のトークショー形式も取り入れた． 2004-10-01
2002 講義科目においてはMicrosoft PowerPointを用いたスライドを作成し教室で投影するとともに，スライドに対応したオリジナルプリント教材（穴埋め方式）を活用している．これにより，学生は講義の進捗状況を把握できるとともに，「書く」作業のため睡眠の防止につながっている． 2002-04-01
