I volunteered to introduce a book to three groups of interested first-year students as part of the First-Year Seminar activities. I chose the book "Ten arguments for deleting your social media accounts right now", by Jaron Lanier. For each group of about 4 students, I held a discussion session lasting between 60 and 90 minutes, in which the students raised issues that they encountered while reading the book in Japanese translation), and I helped clarify some of the more important points with additional explanations. These discussion sessions were presented in poster format at the Cosmos Fair.
