I volunteered to introduce a book to a group of interested first-year students as part of the First-Year Seminar activities. I chose the book "Ten arguments for deleting your social media accounts right now", by Jaron Lanier. For the students who chose this book, I held discussion sessions online (via Zoom) lasting between 60 and 90 minutes, in which the students raised issues that they encountered while reading the book in Japanese translation), and I helped clarify some of the more important points with additional explanations. The students eventually summarized these discussions sessions in poster format, with the intent to include them in the Cosmos Fair activities.
