Summary

In this research note, film director Jean-Luc Godard is a preliminary consideration for systematizing his own creative method in the creation of audiovisual (multimedia with audiovisual stimulation) works, which is my specialty. ・ Analyzing Godard's (1930-) two works, he clarifies the context that creates the unique "quality" of his works. The author selected Godard's works for analysis, including the work "Here and Elsewhere" (1974), in which avant-garde attempts were made while utilizing the video, which was a new technology at that time, and especially acoustics. Two of the works "Nouvelle Vague" (1990), in which new attempts were made in editing. As a conclusion of each analysis, a common method of connecting materials by morphological similarity was clarified as a structure common to each other.
