Summary

Remarks

Close to 100% of tertiary students in Japan now have a mobile device, so as educators, why not make use of them? After committing, however, the teacher must then navigate a vast array of apps and learn how to utilize these new, mobile learning tools. Furthermore, given that student ownership of iOS and Android devices are almost evenly split, a teacher is often unable to make decisions which satisfy the entire class. Participants in this panel discussion can expect to take home a range of mobile language learning options for their classrooms while also learning from the presenters’ years of experience in training students and incorporating mobile devices into their day-to-day language classes.
