Quincy is an IB practitioner and educational leader with extensive expertise spanning classroom instruction in General Sciences, Physics, Mathematics, and Theory of Knowledge, as well as school leadership and international program development. As a pioneering change agent in Japanese IB education, he played a pivotal leadership role at Japan's second Article 1 school authorized to offer the IB, where he was instrumental in leading the school through successful authorization for both the Middle Years Programme (MYP) and the Diploma Programme (DP). Currently, he serves as an Instructor at Tamagawa University Graduate School of Education, contributing to the development and delivery of the IB Certificate of Teaching and Learning program and preparing the next generation of IB educators.
His commitment to advancing IB education in Japan and globally is reflected in his multifaceted engagement with the International Baccalaureate Organization across numerous high-level capacities, including DP Physics Principal Examiner, DP School Consultant, MYP/DP School Visiting Team Leader, IBEN Trainer, IB Field Representative, IB Lead Educator, IB Learning Hub Facilitator, IB Bilingual Workshop Leader, and IB Online Workshop Facilitator. Through these varied roles, Quincy continues to play an active role in shaping the landscape of international education in Japan and beyond, bridging theory and practice while supporting schools, educators, and the broader IB community.
