Accuracy of Locations Touched as Conspicuous Objects on the Touch-screen

What object is extracted as a conspicuous object by human? What factors compose the conspicuity? Finding out the factors is important for the image understanding technology. Up to now the touch-screen has been used as an equipment to see what object is extracted by a human as a conspicuous object. It will be used from now on. In this paper, the accuracy of locations touched as a conspicuous object, be-cause it is a fundamental important character. Seven subjects touched a disk presented one of seven-teen locations in the central visual field. The total trial was 357. We obtained a result that the mean error is 0.295cm and the standard deviation is 0.185cm.
