Extraction of White Line Area and Lane Boundary

An extraction method of the white line on the road by the statistics of brightness is presented and the effectiveness of the method is shown for the Tomei highway, Metropolitan highway and the general road. The direction and location of the white line is also extracted using the r-θ distribution.
