This article reports on the development and operation of the Center for English as a Lingua Franca (CELF) tutor service at Tamagawa University in Japan. The authors describe how the service was established to support students' English learning through individualized tutoring, multilingual interaction, and self-access learning opportunities. The paper outlines the structure of the program, tutor roles, scheduling system, and the types of academic support provided, including presentation practice, TOEIC preparation, grammar assistance, and speaking support. It also discusses student usage patterns and the educational value of the tutor service within an English as a Lingua Franca (ELF) curriculum framework.
