Summary

PowerPoint is ubiquitous and routinely used in educational settings to display and transfer information to students; albeit one-way. In addition to this common application, however, the capabilities of the software make it well suited for more interactive purposes. To illustrate, the presenter will show how interactive PowerPoint games can be accessed online, and how teachers can incorporate them into their teaching. The presenter will also demonstrate how teachers can create their own simple, yet effective, activities with PowerPoint to generate classroom interaction and stimulate language learning.
