Revision is an essential part of language learning. Ultimately, by reviewing previously covered material in class, the process provides students with valuable opportunities to recycle key language in other contexts, which ultimately helps them to internalize and acquire the target language. The presenter will demonstrate a number of form-focused activities that have been useful in reviewing vocabulary and language for listening and speaking practice in his classes. The activities require little preparation time by the teacher and could be adapted for other revision purposes depending on different learning goals. Participants will be asked to play an active role in this presentation by trying the activities presented and also by sharing revision activities that have worked in their classroom.
