Through the fieldwork the authors conducted over 5 years, the study discusses two findings: the migration schemes in agriculture such as TITP and SSW are carried out as a good combination to make foreign workers work for several years; and yet difficulties of living in isolated areas of countryside make SSWII, which allows foreigners to live permanently, less adapted to the field.
