Two centroids of spherical or hyperbolic triangle: the point trisecting the area and the concurrent point of arcs bisecting the area
![]() |
In this paper, we consider centroids of spherical or hyperbolic triangles. The centroid of a planar triangle has many properties, e.g., it trisects the area and it is the concurrent point of lines passing through a vertex and bisecting the area. However, for a spherical or hyperbolic triangle, the points with each property are different.
