I currently live in Yokohama with my family. My wife is a teacher a Tamagawa Elementary School and I have 2 daughters, ages 20 and 17. My oldest daughter graduated from the Tamagawa International Baccalaureate Middle Year and Diploma Programs and my youngest will graduate from the Tamagawa International Baccalaureate Program in 2027. My hobbies include cycling, snowboarding and hiking. I spent 3 years living and teaching in Kyoto before moving to Tokyo in 2009. From 2002 ~ 2009 I was a full-time employee at the Tamagawa Nanaimo Campus in British Columbia, Canada.
My research interests include Mobile Assisted Language Learning (MALL), Computer Assisted Language Learning (CALL), Curriculum Development, Extensive Reading and Learning Management Systems (LMS).
