There are many situations where it is difficult to use due to menus and icons on PCs and smartphones. One of the reasons is that there are no clear quantitative criteria for ease of use in terms of the user interface. In this research, we propose a new quantitative criterion, "the time required from the start to the end of device operation". This paper describes the operating time change depending on the design and arrangement of smartphone icons.
