About the Forum:
The revised Japanese National Curriculum Guidelines requires that schools develop and offer educational experiences for children that nurtures the qualities and abilities necessary to become creators of the future, in the face of rapid social changes due to informatization and globalization. The aim of the next curriculum guidelines is to not only focus on the required content that needs to be learned, but to also focus on the approaches to learning to qualitatively enrichen the learning process for all children. The theme for this year’s annual Tamagawa Education forum thus focused on the ‘IB approaches to learning and teaching’.
