Learning Strategies Learning time Motivation Many Japanese college students claim that they want to be able to use English.  However, they are lacking the consciousness of "what they want to do with the English," and to achieve the goal,"what they should do." They tend to attend Ensligh classes passively. Based on the premise of the hypothesis that the knowledge of learning strategies will help students, the effective ways of integrating the lessons for learning strategies in university curriculum should be explored.
