RNAi　genome editing　social insect　Understanding of the molecular basis responsible for the social behavior of animals is one of the central subjects of sociobiology. Although social insects are interesting materials for the subject, functional analysis system of their genes is not yet established in most cases. Therefore, we established the RNAi system for queenless ponerine ant Diacamma sp., and now are also engaged on applying genome editing technology for the Diacamma sp.
