As the world continues to diversify linguistically and culturally due to globalization, there is a growing need to recognize that many English speakers are not Anglophone ‘native speaker’ monolinguals but multilinguals who use English as part of their repertoire for intercultural communication (Baker et al., 2024). This workshop draws on my Global Englishes language teaching (GELT) of utilizing students’ multilingual resources, which helped students foster inclusive, flexible attitudes towards diversified Englishes, multilingualism, and intercultural awareness.
