My areas of interests include what is defined as Applied Linguistics in a broad sense. That is, an application of lingustics in order to solve various problems in daily life. I am particularly interested in the relationship of power and language in society, both at a micro and a macro levels, as well as studies in multimodal discourse.I put more emphasis on process of learning rather than product. In my upper class seminars, I try my best to accomodate learning styles of each of the students.
