This paper explores values education in Australian schools through the framework developed by the Australian Federal Government in the 2000s. It focuses on the approaches adopted by the Australian Federal Government in implementing values education and the application of value-based education case studies used by school groups across Australia. This study explores the implementation of nationwide values-based education programs and provides recommendations for the participation of key stakeholders—including school administrators, staff, teachers, students, parents, and community members—to successfully establish best practices in teaching values-based education in schools and to establish large-scale approaches to values education in schools.
