Oral presentations are a common form of summative assessment in English as a Foreign Language (EFL) curricula at higher education institutions. Teachers must consider various educational and learning elements when preparing and conducting ICT-enabled oral presentation activities, going beyond simply having students speak about a topic in front of the class. Teaching effective oral presentation skills to university-level learners requires understanding how to maximize learning opportunities to persuasively convey a message to an audience both verbally and visually.
